Meet the Board

Garry Banks

Garry Banks was born June 6th 1963 in Columbia, MO. He is a graduate of Rock Bridge High School, Columbia College, University of Missouri-Columbia, the Graduate School of Banking of the South (Louisiana State University), and holds the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout. He currently owns and operates an Investment Advisory Business in Columbia with two other colleagues. Previously, he was Vice President in charge of real estate and construction lending with Union Planters Bank for 13 years. Garry and his customers have had considerable dealings with many different title companies over the year and he indicates that:

Betty Quisenberry

Betty’s first job was as a legal secretary in the law firm of Clark, Boggs, Peterson and Becker. It was there that she became acquainted with abstracts and it was by reading them and typing the attorney’s opinions that she learned to love history. Several years later she received a call from her former boss saying he remembered how she enjoyed working with the abstracts and would she be interested in coming to work for Central Missouri Abstract and Title Company. There she advanced from full-time employee to manager and finally to President of the corporation. She served as President of the Missouri Land Title Association and also served on the Board of Directors for the American Land Title Association. She received the distinguished Service Award form the Missouri Land Title Association for years of service. She retired in 1997 after what she says were THIRTY-SEVEN GREAT years.

B. Daniel Simon, Attorney

Dan was born January 27, 1942, and graduated from M.U. with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1964, and with a Law Degree (J.D.) in 1967. He has practiced law in Columbia since 1969. He has a substantial real estate practice, dealing with all areas of real estate law, including land use law (zoning and subdivision and land use regulation matters), real estate transactions, title issues, subdivision and development matters of all kinds (including covenants, easements and restrictions), and the preparation of and other matters related to condominiums and townhouse developments. Dan and his clients have had extensive dealings with Boone-Central Title, and its predecessors, since the formation of Central Missouri Abstract and Title Company, and states:

I can always count on Boone-Central’s providing, for me and my clients, quality, accurate, complete and timely title work of all kinds. I rely on it heavily in my day to day practice, as do many of my clients."

J. Dudley Trice

J. Dudley Trice is a life long resident of Columbia, MO. He graduated from Simpson College Indianolia, Iowa with a degree in Business. He has been involved primarily in the insurance business with the Conley-Myers Agency and The Insurance Group, Inc. his entire working career, as well as other endeavors including real estate interest.

H. C. Willbrand, Attorney

Herb was born on February 12, 1935, and graduated from the University of Missouri Law School in September 1959. He has practiced law in Columbia since that date. He has been involved with Central Missouri Abstract and Title Company since its inception 48 years ago and was instrumental in the merger between Boone County Abstract and Central Missouri Abstract and Title Company forming Boone-Central Title Company in 1991, and states:
